Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Balm (born on November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. Her past roles included being a presidential candidate and hosting a television show on MSNBC. She's often a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and a former co-host on The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear in the month of May that they'd quit the show in order to launch their own show, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball credits her interest in politics due to the fact that she became a mom during the 2008 primaries, and was also able to watch the US presidential election results while in Jordan. She was able observe how the outcome affected people in that country and she was able to appreciate the global impact US politics have on the lives of all people in the world. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was host of The Cycle, an MSNBC program The Cycle. In May of 2017, she created the People's House Project, a political action group working on behalf of Democratic causes.
