Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a member in the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011); White House deputy director(2009-2011) and spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki worked as an CNN political contributor from 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaigns Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack who were both Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki then became deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Between 2005 and 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. 20 February, 2013, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State. [20] It was speculated that she was to replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21However, Josh Earnest was announced to succeed Carney on May 30th in 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the communications director, and she remained there until the end of Obama's presidency.
